Mildenhall Town FC are pleased to announce their signing of centre half Andy Eady, from Bury Town FC.
The former Bury captain has signed a two year contract at the Ridgeons League Premier Division side and will become their new team skipper.
Eady had played at Bury Town for four seasons and was their player’s player of the year last season, leading them to a runner’s up position in the Ridgeons league.
Chairman Martin Tuck commented:
"Andy’s signing is another superb addition to our team, he scored three times against us last season and was a real thorn in our side!
I know that both Trevor Munns and John Taylor are delighted with Andy joining us and we all look forward to seeing him playing for us next season"
First Team Manager Trevor Munns added:
"I played alongside Andy for Cambridgeshire a few years ago and have been a long time admirer of his play and leadership qualities.
Andy is definitely regarded as one of the strongest defenders in our league and I am sure he will prove to be a massive influence at our club"
